I no longer see the 'Threads Killed' statistic on my profile page.

Has this stat been done away with? I don't see a need for it, but I did find it an interesting statistic.

Glad to see it gone! I always thought it was a silly stat.

please, for the good of the site, lets not ressurrect this topic!

I'm glad to see it go also, it was a silly stat that sparked countless useless threads.

Sorry to touch a nerve. I spend a lot of time looking through the threads and pay attention pretty well, but I missed this topic.

Three replies and I'm still in the dark though.

If it is really a sensitive topic, I'd welcome a PM.

Now this is a mystical reply, BUT it does give me an idea as to why this is so touchy. If this subject is related to the interesting threads this afternoon, then I understand.

I just didn't realize that this was part of it.

i think that it was removed by the Admins because it had no purpose and really brought down the site's intelligence.

Hmmmm... and all along I've been taking credit for bringing down site intelligence :-(

Well, I'm glad it's gone. It always made me very hesitant to post on the threads because I didn't want to be the last one and bring up my "threads killed" stat.

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, do I still get the Thread Kill?

Why is having the last word a bad thing? It only means you've said something so definitive that no one can argue with your....OR....that you've thanked all the folks for answering your question...OR...that everyone was done discussing when you chimed in...OR...(what apparently most folks want to assume)....you've committed the ultimate idiocy and may it R.I.P.
(but it's find with me that 'threads killed' is gone...it ran its course)

thanks GOd! That was annoying!

I was just wondering what happened to it, and was going to post and ask if no-one else had.... good to see I'm not the only one who noticed... does strike me as a derogatory stat though, not saying that I didn't like it, but I could see where problems could occur

So glad this is gone as it was a totally useless waste of processor time...among other things.

I don't know, I'm sorta' sad to see that it's gone. I found it amusing. Maybe just a case of simple mind, simple pleasure ;-D
