| I voted on the photos last night and I am now writing some comments... in some cases I am bumping up the vote... here is my question.. if you get a comment from me and your score doesn't change or goes up whatever degree my bump of 1 or 2 is, will it seem that I have just voted on your entry and voted low? Some people keep very good track of the scores they are getting. I'm not that mathematical and it would really hurt my brain to do that. But to answer your question, to those folks it may seem like they just got a 1 if you just bumped them up 1 point. Most people don't keep track of their scores that closely, I'm guessing. One thing you can do is to start your comment, "Returning to comment" and then make your comment and bump if you feel the desire. I've seen some people do this. That way, it might give them a clue that it wasn't a one, but maybe a bump. At any rate, they'll know that you voted earlier and are just coming back to comment.

Actually, when you bump a score, the number of votes does not change, but the score does. For those of us who monitor our score, it's easy to see the bump (if we catch it before someone else votes,) or we give the next voter credit for a very nice score. Either way, we like it.
