When I tried to log on to the backend of my website today, I found out my account had disappeared, along with my site and countless nights of hard work...
The server hosting my site (operated by 2MHost) was seized by Homeland Security due to illegal content on the machine.
The message from Homeland Security read :
"...there is a possiblity that you will be able to receive a copy of the websites that do not contain contraband, but this will take some days, maybe weeks to accomplish."
Of course I have a backup and 2MHost is helping me to put it back but IT REALLY SUCKS anyway.

um.. contraband? What the heck did you have on there?
Oh wait, I read it wrong. Sorry. The hosting server had illegal content, not you personally. heh.

What is 2MHost?
What was up there that got the server seized?

It was somewhere on the whole server, not his site.
At least we know that the NSA is tracking your calls to customer service. |

Probably digitally recorded television shows or contraband mp3's. Definitely a threat to national security. |

What do you expect - I still laugh on the news when you see the "FBI confiscated a compuetr from somebody for xxx" and you see a big guy carrying a monitor out to the car in the footage. I can imagine how well they could understand the concept of a shared server :-/ |

OK, I just wanted to let you know that I've managed to get my backup restored and up-and running.
Too bad I lost 2 months worth of entries but lesson learned : make weekly backups.

What a pain, can't they keep themselves entertained monitering phone calls and gutting FEMA?
Do n't imagen you ever found out what they were looking for or if they found it.
