Where everything goes completely awful, then you take some pictures and you remember it as a great day?

I had one of those days today. The camera gods were smiling on me, and my pictures are actually in focus, which unfortunately is rare without my tripod that I didn't even need today.

Now I know that these aren't anything terribly special, but the technicals on them are much better than my usual work, I really feel like I'm improving. : )

These are the bare beginnings of what I hope will be a reasonably successful venture this summer. I'm going to sell prints of local tourists spots to the cruise ship passengers. *crosses fingers*

Well this has been long enough. I'd love some constructive criticism of how I can improve these photos via PS 7.

Have a good day/night everyone!

Perhaps... coupled with the fact that it's a roll-over night and folks are busy looking at the results of the challenges and exchanging tidbits of information on that and the upcoming challenges.

Very true. Van Gogh comes to mind off the top of my head.

If everything went wrong, I wouldn't be able to take any pictures because my camera would have broken, and then the house would have burned down with the camera inside.

But taking pictures is good to cheer you up.

And you would've lost your arms trying to save the camera perhaps?
