BareNaked Ladies Parody:
If I had a Million Dollars: Photography Version
If I had a million dollars,
(if I had a million dollars)
well I'd buy you a Cam (I would buy you a Cam)
and if I had a million dollars,
(if I had a million dollars)
buy you accessories for your cam (maybe a nice external flash or an manfrotto)
and if I had a million dollars,
(if I had a million dollars)
Well I'd buy you a K-Mount.. (a nice reliant auto-focus.)
and if I had a million dollars,
I'd buy your looooooovveeee...
If I had a million dollars
(I'd build a studio in our yard)
If I had a million dollars
(You could help, it wouldn't be that hard)
If I had a million dollars...
(Maybe we could put a little tiny kid in there somewhere..)
You know we could just go in there and.. hang out...
...like, posin' the kid, and stuff, and, there'll all be models layed out for us,
with little, pre-scarfed asians and things.
They have pre-scarfed asians, but they don't have pre-scarfed Icelanders.
Well can you blame them?
Yah!
If I had a million dollars
(if I had a million dollars)
well I'd buy you an L-Lens, (but not a real L-Lens that's cruel.)
and if I had a million dollars
(if I had a million dollars)
well I'd buy you some exotic glass. (Yup, Like a Leica, or a Carl Zeiss)
and if I had a million dollars
(if I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you Ansel Adams' remains (ooo.. all them crazy zone system bones)
and if I had a million dollars,
I'd buy your looooooovveeee...
If I had a million dollars,
(We wouldn't have to buy from a store)
and If I had a million dollars
(we'd go buy B&H cause it costs.. moo-ree..)
If I had a million dollars
(we wouldn't have to shoot with sigma.. but we would shoot with sigma..
of course we would, we'd just shoot more, and buy really expensive filters with it.
that's right, all the fanciest filter.. Dijon Filters.. mmm..
If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
well I'd buy you a white lens, (but not a real white lens that's cruel)
and if I had a million dollars
(if I had a million dollars)
Well I'd buy you some prints.. (A librodo or an Arngrimur)
If I had a million dollars
(if I had a million dollars)
Well I'd buy you a 1D, (haven't you always wanted a ONE D!)
If I had a million dollars
I'd buy your looooooo-ooooveee...
If I had a million dollars (If I had a million dollars!)
If I had a million dollars (If I had a million *dollars!*)
If I had a million do-ooo-oo-ooo-llars...
I'd be Rich.

This is HILARIOUS!!!!!
My favourite line:
They have pre-scarfed asians, but they don't have pre-scarfed Icelanders.

o, the ladies...
i've been a fan since i saw them at the student pub at mt. a about, ooo, 17 years ago. they were hawking their homemade yellow tape, the one with the same 5 songs on each side. i bought it, and played it forever. i still have it, and it's fab.
they were great. i was amazed. and went to a party at a firends place with them (ok, i never really met them, but i was in the same house as them...) 'cause they had gone to school together.
then i saw them play a pub in halifax.
then the break for the border in london england.
then the hammersmith apollo in london, england.
they just kept getting bigger.
super version. well done indeed. :-)
