Sometimes when i'm looking up lenses and stuff, I get to a part where someone says something like: "Sure, it's not as good as a prime lens..." or "not as good as primes"
What is a prime lens? And thus, what would be the opposite of a prime lens be?
Thanks |

A prime is the opposite of a zoom. Fixed length. For instance, the 50mm prime is a fairly popular lense. They are typically sharper than zoom lenses.

Just to answer your question... and not on a quest to kill - you kill a thread by being the last to post to it.
ETA: Site Council has the power of the smite and can kill at will.
