yesterday i met up with a band on tour in illinois
we walked around for an hour and a half and just shot pictures
im trying to edit this one, but i don't know what to do
it was noisy to begin with
here is the org.

i dont like how it looks, i like the desat look
why do you ask?, jsut because you think it might look coo, or do you have other reasoning?

how's this? i desaturated the yelows and some of the reds, changed levels to give it more contrast, and added noise.
edit: oh yeah, i also cropped that distractng white corner out... great image for this stuff, though. I'd PM joeylawrence

so you didn't want noise? lol, i added it on purpose, just thought it added to the effect... your preference. : )

ok thanks, good to hear, ill have to ask the band what they want, ill jsut do it both ways, ornage cast goneish, maybe a hint of it

That is a filter to emulate Ilford 200 sfx film-- so I cant tell ya the steps-- I can however apply it the original image if you want to send it to me--

I don't know how to post pictures in these forums (I know, I'm a dork) but I created a duplicate layer of this pic in photoshop and changed the blending mode to Hard Mix, then lowered the opacity of the top layer to 25% - thought it looked kind of cool. If someone can tell me how to upload the pic, I'll post it.

After you convert to B&W, you can add a duotone effect, blue,orange,red...

Sent the full sized converted--
Btw-- I did a test print just on regular paper after conversion and it looks kick ass-- hope the file comes through--
