We don't have our pool set up yet and it's hot today. Hubby pulled out this big cooler for the lil one to have some fun in. She's been out there for 2 hours now splashing around. Who ever thought that a cooler full of water could be so much fun even at 5 hehe.

For some reason when I read redneck swimming pool I visioned a tarp in the bed of a Chevy truck filled with water. :-) But, hey, good use for a "cooler".

Well ya know back home I did the tarp thing with lawn chairs when I was little. Not because I didn't have a kiddie pool, but because I thought that was the neatest thing in the world.
We have a tarp but it goes under the big pool when we set it up. I have a couple more with the dogs drinking of the cooler while she's playing in it- was going to title it redneck pool and water trough hehe.
Oh to be 5 again. |

Would love to be 5 again myself.
I would absolutely hate to have to be a teenager again though, nor do I think I could live through some of the dumb things I did, again. :-)

lol, I didn't enjoy my teenage years much either so I hear ya there. Not that I did anything really stupid, but my mother had me on a tight leash.
5 was fun, no stepmom to keep me from doing the fun stuff and my dad was just as into it as I was- heck he planned most of the crazy fun stuff I endedup doing:o) |
