Well raise a glass. I don't understand why, it was a good place to shoot the Shi* and have some fun with some friends even the GeneralE hung out and let us blow off steam. But they just would not let it be killed just locked. :-(

Your telling me. I leave the house to go visit a friend, get there and shoot the shit for a bit then decide to leave cuz I need to stop for lightbulbs (cuz for some strange reason all the lightbulbs decided to all go out at once)and do some banking. Get to the bank (which I haven't done for a couple of months) and reach for my wallet and it's gone. Now I'm thinking "where did I have it last and who was the last chick at my place???" just in case. I get home look on my computer chair and there it is. Not one but both bank cards, my visa and my DL. So now I'm sitting here in the middle of the day with no lightbulbs and trying to decide if I should take a nap or go back out. Mondays suck.

O o o o... I met this chick and I think she's up to par (for my tastes anyway) and I'm gonna ask her out this weekend. Any suggestions??? Probably not the best place to ask but...

May you have more luck than I did, last time. You probably shouldn't take advice from someone who can't get a second date, but I'll repeat the silly "just be yourself and have fun" line, since it is true.

Hope it works for ya! If not, well, there's always an empty barstool here...we can have a few drinks and comiserate about how chicks are evil ;)

You asked her out as well??? j/k

The best way to get past the first date is to tell her that you don't put out. That way there is no expectation. It wasn't a date as I was simply just "talking" to her and found out some stuff like she has a kid and I think she's seeing someone but not that that has ever stopped me before.

Anyways, I didn't ask her out yet but I plan on it in time and we'll see from there.

Going to pick up at a bar for a night is so much more easier then talking to someone and trying to get to know them.
