WTH? I still don't get it! Every comment is telling how wonderful my picture is and that I have 9 here or a 10 there. Then why is my score dropping faster than a boy pants after the prom?

I'm wondering if it's cause people recognize the person in the photo. Cause I had posted my score yesterday, and for the next 20 minutes, it dropped steadily. I deleted the score from my post, and just as I had predicted, it went back up. I wonder if it's the people who are hell bent on annonyminity?? Cause I recognized yours. A few people recognized mine. Who knows. |

If that's true, they shouldn't vote on this challenge. It's obvious you'll recognise people in a self portrait challenge.

True true. But after I had posted my score, which was 6.94 at the time, it crashed within minutes. It was like everyone went to search mine out and lower that average cause they knew it was mine or something. So, now that my score is low again, i'm not worried about it dropping. lol I'm still happy with the shot, I don't care who votes on it. |

Exactly. This is just fun! :D
I'm really enjoying this challenge, not just because my score is great, but also because I like to see what other people came up with. I think it's great to see everybody with their username when the challenge is over ;-)

I voted on this challenge as if I knew no one. I based it on the shot, and the shot alone.
I hope people aren't voting down because they know who they are.
In any case, I loved this challenge and I loved seeing everyone else. I'm looking forward to putting faces to names now! :)

Not me. I recognized only a few, one of which was one of my favourite photographers, who's work I think is awesome, and who's every picture is perfect - until this challenge. :) Had to give that person an honest, average score. So, I voted the image according to what, in my opinion, I thought it deserved, not because of who took it. |

my score just started a weird downwards slide.. it was my personal best yesterday at almost 6.5 but I'm down to 6.4 now :(
and I thought my pic was soo creative and good :P

kinda makes me wonder why i keep getting hit by 3s and 4s??? i went as high as 5.8 last night and just keep getting hit... oh well ;)

Not my best, or my worst. A lot of semi-negative comments on the effect I went for, but I guess you can't get much more helpful than that actually. |
