I acquired a 35mm Quantaray lens, 19-35mm. I don't know what camera it is for. I looked for a site describing it, and found that it was made for Canon, Nikon, and I believe, Minolta cameras. But I can't figure out which one. The serial number is 6317051, and it is a bayonet mount. No f stops index on it, no aperture controls. Autofocus, and apparently automatic control of the aperture. On the rear is engraved "C/EF". There is a red dot on one side of the rear bayonet mount. If you know what this lens is made for, could you please email me? Thanks.

The "EF" part of the engraving on the mount seems to hint it might be for Canon. A pic of the mount would tell the tale.

C/EF almost certainly denotes Canon EF mount...

The answer to the question is too obvious. I'm wondering if wanting to be e-mailed is an attempt to collect e-mail addresses?

Sorry about that. Just a bit suspicious of some posts. Accept my apologies.

Does the mount end of it look like this one that I ripped from an ebay listing? Note especially the contacts.

Thank you for the picture. That is exactly what it is...I have a friend with a Canon, I will give the lens to him. Ron
