Let's hope there is more than one entry without a lens cap in it! ;)
Challenge: "Take a photo where the main subject is your lenscap."
And my guess is that you will get a lower score if you do not include your lens cap in your entry - fair or not fair.
But knowing you, I'm sure you were only joking! :) |

I had 2 great ideas...the weather is stopping one of them, although i might still try.
the other i forgot to shoot! i shot a wedding yesterday and thought about doing something with the B&G and a lens cap. OH well.
I have another idea, but laziness will prevent my from trying it. I know it's a ribbon winner too.

I was going to enter still life, but what the hell, I'll just stick a lens cap in the shot...
Do you think it'll matter if there are more than one lens caps in the shot? |

I think more than one lens cap is fine. That would certainly fit the topic well IMHO.

Man, I look at my entry and just laugh and laugh and laugh. If there is going to be bias...just look at my final score. It will be the barometer. |

OK, I'm in (after a dry period). I had an idea, came home today, took 4 shots, picked the best, converted from raw, resized, usm, and submitted. Then I noticed that there is a sensor speckle on the top, went back to my image, cropped the top 15 pixels, and resubmitted.
Altogether it took 25 minutes or less. We'll see how well it fares. I miss my update button...

Well I will be the first to admit my entry is a bit lame, but my still life was even more lame. |

I do the same thing. I think mine is another one of those hate it / love it pictures. We'll see. |

not taking chances after being hit far too many times by the DNMC Nazi's. I've submitted a DPC-safe photo, with tact-sharp focus, nice straight tilt, BIG OBVIOUS lens cap showing, and the photo carries no meaning whatsoever except being pretty and technically good. |

Mine has a lenscap. Very obvious. |

I suspect my entry will be done by more than one person... it'll be interesting to see if that's the case.

the best way to keep your lens cap with you is just stick it on your skin, lol! |
Or just do like fotomann and hold it in your hand all the time - even while you pose...

I've decided I'm going to judge my entry by # of comments rather than score. I'm shooting for 50... |
