They're planning to set off something on the order of 700 tons of TNT -- reputable scientists say it will displace (like into the air) the radioactive dust left over from the actual "nukuler" bomb tests.
Interestingly, they'll apparently set it off when the wind's blowing towards southern Utah, but not if it's blowing west towards Las Vegas. |

well, until i hear otherwise, that is what I am going to use it for... :)
I'm waiting to hear back from my friend about his dad's observatory. apparently he has a camera mount set up in there, but i dont know if it will work with my camera. also waiting for the sky to clear up so I can go try my hand at astrophotography.
and.... I am waiting for my new laptop to come in :) |

Cool but you really should be trying to kill this thread!
P.S. There are a few photogs on this site that are very good at astrophotography just search the forums for the threads. |
