Ok, so I'm whining....ALOT!!!! It has rained so much in the last 3 days, we have recieved 10". Streams are now raging rivers. People are being flooded in areas where it was not considered a flood zone. Businesses are losing precious seasonal business. And its just darn cold and raw (45) Which is not really cold, but I have a fire going in May. Things could be worse, and In places it is, But Enough is enough. So thats my Whine for the day... I will continue whining. In Boston, it's been raining since last monday. i had my college graduation yesterday, with the ceremony outside in the 45 degree pouring rain. Now I'm in NJ and it's supposed to rain here all week after it was nice last week. This is going to be 2 weeks of rain for me = hell.

It's been cold and rainy here for days too, but no floods yet. You could always go out and shoot the flooded areas!

Yeah, it's been raining more or less for the past two weeks here. If we happen to get a bit of sun, it's during work, of course, and then it starts to rain again when it's time to go home. :(

I can feel for you guys, considering it rained for what felt like 5 months straight out here in Seattle Ü. I kept meaning to take pictures of the soccer field that was completely under water, with goals that looked like they were floating, but I never got around to it. We've had sun for the last three days, which is sort of freaky. Clouds are back today, though...

I'll second the bit about the Seattle rain :-(

On the other hand, in Queensland, Australia (where I normally call home), they have had a drought for the longest time.

The water restrictions have been getting tougher and tougher, they are now down to watering with buckets ONLY, not even a hand-held hose is allowed anymore.

Guess a few days of rain isn't sooooooooo bad, huh?

Seems like the pendulum these days swings to one extreme or another. As I said, I am whining, It could be worse. So far at least no one has died due to unplanned for flooding.

Lucky! I love rain. Come to Phoenix, it's dry city. Not as dry as our record we broke a couple months ago, but still.

I think I'd take rainy Maine over sunny Atlanta. I'd say come visit, but Atlanta sucks.

Heat without the humidity. Apparently, it's a very large high pressure zone that reaches from the west coast to Manitoba. Though moving slowly should eventually get to Ontario.

Yeah you guys are getting hammered. It's been wet down here on the Cape, but nowhere NEAR as wet as on the mainland, thank goodness...

yep, rained everyday for a week now ... with snow mixed in one day last week. It's still raining. We've had roads washing out, a small mud slide (didn't realize we had a hilly enoug area to do a mud slide, lol), sink holes, rivers cresting, and waves snatching people off rocks (one guy is still missing since last Wednesday). My grass is getting way too long, but is too wet to mow. The poor pugs hate pooping in long grass as it tickles their butts. We need a day of sunshine. end of whine

Viewed from a northerner's perspective....YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHOVEL RAIN
and that ladies and gentlemen........is a good thing.

Quit your whining, take out your rubber duckies and go take some pics.

:0)

I can tell by watching them....they start to go and a blade of grass pokes them and the jump up and run to a new spot - only for the same thing to happen again. Poor poor puggies
