Blank screen. My computer and my monitors are only powered down when I go on vacation.

I use my photos, swapping the folders on a regular basis.

Once upon a time with prints in albums, I only looked at them once in a while. Now, I see much more of my photos - gotta love digital!

I have a folder of lesser-known paintings by Van Gogh. I haven't changed it for ever so long, I don't remember what the screensaver program is that selects them.

...but maybe I should make a folder of my own photos to screen. ;>)

Absolutely nothing. I also don't use wallpeper. Don't like giving up system resources for such frivelous things. :-P

No wallpaper, blank screen for screensaver.

Anything else gets really annoying, really fast.

A scrolling marquee. Sometimes I'll leave little messages for my wife, you know, sweet nothings, and then leave it on so it will be scrolling when she gets home :-)

...currently though, the message is: "I got a bad feeling about this..."

I use a blank screen. All my spare CPU capacity is used for a distributed computing project, so I don't want the screen saver wasting CPU cycles - especially if the monitor is switched off at the time!

I don't usually use a screen saver, unless security is an issue (not often) in which case I'll stick anything on there. On a semi-related note, I noticed that a couple of years ago Mac had an automatically switching desktop. Is there any software to enable windows to do that?
