		| hey chrales, for the past couple months i've been using a set of NI-MH's that a realitive picked up for me at a wal-mart in florida, lol. I honestly couldn't belive the use time after a single charge. Since i got the s1, I've alwayse used Nickle Hydrate, and great power from them |

I am a NiMH addict nowadays. I have numerous sets to handle flashes, an external hard drive, three GPS receivers, and a bunch of other stuff around the house. I haven't had any trouble with the Energizers, which is pretty much the only brand I have.

Always get the highest mAh possible... the 2500s are most common nowadays, although I think I've seen 2600s somewhere.

The only issue I've ever had with the NiMH batteries is the 9V ones. I thought I'd be smart and get some for the smoke detectors in the house, as well as a few other gadgets, and they just don't last nearly as long as a regular alkaline.

I'm no expert or anything... I just use them a lot and have been successful with the Energizers. I don't imagine there's a whole lot of difference from one brand to the next.

		| I have some 1850mAh energizers and they have always treated me right. But, I just picked up some Xi 2400's (never heard of the brand) for an upcoming trip. We will see how they fare. |
