Looking for Photo holders - DPChallenge Forums

Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4D

With out going into too much detail... I basically need a 4x6 photo holder with a cellophane covered window that I can hand out prints to guests. I know I've seen something similar before but can't find them anywhere online.

Anyone know what I'm talking about and where I can find them?

Did you try looking at your local camera shop? (assuming there is one near you)
The one here in my town has a pretty good section of different kinds of photo books, portfolios and things like that, I don't recall seeing anything specifically like you are wanting, but then I wasn't looking for that kind of thing :-) Anyway, it might be worth a look, if there is a shop near you.

Well, I live in the boonies... the nearest camera store is 2 hours away. But it's worth a call. Thanks for the thought.

Cant find the catalog (means its loaned i guess) but:

Thanks for the link. I had found them on my hunting and they are bit more expensive than we are looking for, plus I'd like just an envelope with a window and not a folder. It seems odd that something so simple is so hard to find.

Yeah, I called them already as well. The didn't really have what I was looking for either. This is good that I'm tracking down companies that most people seem to use.

Oh and here's and example of something of what I want:

These are too big for what I want (need a 4x6) and I don't need anything imprinted on them. Plus I don't know if there is cellophane covering the window or not.

Envelopes

A little large, but I couldn't find anything smaller.

here is the same sort of thing, smaller investment though. (smaller count to order.)

Plain cello bags with an adhesive strip to seal.
Used in greeting card shops.
