Like a complete moron, I was in a rush and my camera fell over on a tripod while my back was turned. My camera and lens still work but I ripped the entire tripod mount out of the camera. I now have a gaping hole in the bottom that has been covered by a 2 of diamonds playing card and some black duct tape. I haven't checked but I assume that I'm not covered under warranty. Just wondering if anyone has a D70 that is completely broken and interested in selling me(or donating) the bottom plate. I know this is a long shot but I figured I would throw it out there.
Oops, I just realized my computer was logged in under my brothers name. My parents routinely check both of our profiles. This post is from trnqlty.

Sorry...my D70 can't help you! But ...it's good to know that I can rip a hole in the bottom and still shoot!!!!
