Where would you buy from? and what site would let me have a sample book to make sure which color or design i wanted?

| I've bought a few through Amvona.com (use their ebay site, always nice getting things at 1/4 the price). I don't think they have a sample book though. If there is a site with sample books, I am very interested. |

Don't know of any that do a sample book type thing. you can dyed or painted - painted ones are better.
bigger is better. I got a 10x20 foot one from cole for $139, painted. you don't have to use the whole length, but it's there if you want to drape over posing blocks or turn the whole thing sideways for a large BG for groups or active kids.

Backdrop Outlet has a catalog.
The best muslin I have bought and dyed myself has been from Walmart of all places. I also purchase from JoAnn and Hobby Lobby but prefer Walmart's.

muslin at walmart (in the quilting area) need not be stithed - 107" wide maybe a wider variant as well.
dyeing it sucks. tried that...don't recomend it unless you just want one large plain colored cloth. if you want variegated then paint is the way to go.
regular house paint works, so cole tells me. spray it on with the cloth stretched out - out in the backyard works. next time you cut the grass it's green again. ;)
