MADE: (5/10/06) "This is terrific. A bit on the sharp side, but it works for the elements. Just wonderful. LOVE the tones~!"

RECEIVED: (5/10/06) "I love this. It's abstract yet very understandable. The cross way up in the upper left corner really pulls your eye to it. Nice with the hands and rosary beads. The hint of lace adds some nice contrast and texture."

(Thanks Jutilda! You always have a nice word to say!)

Who am I to disagree, but... I think the tight focus on the eyes tells the story of sadness. The softer focus everywhere else leads me to where the real turmoil shows itself. I think that if there was focus on cheeks and hand we would be more drawn to the artistic "affect" rather than the statement offered in the title.

...in my humble opinion.

recieved 2 nights ago--"WOW" I LOVE this, and yes it is now a favorite as well..... Maybe put the grey one in the middle.....

made yesterday--Since Im such a flower nut i will return my comment on this one:

WoW! Great Job here! I love the close up of this and the strong colors you captured here are wonderful. I think I would like to have seen the third flower up with the other two but exactly this same crop. For me the green and white in the bottom right corner are a bit of a distraction for me personaly. But i can see where it gives this shot some depth.

This isn't about nostalgia. It's only for the purpose of interest and to see the difference between how comments were made and received when one first joined to now. (A counter act to the other thread on comments 1st made and received).
