The weekend of the speed challenge I went to a local nature preserve where there are wild crocuses. Along with the challenge entry, I made the following captures.

Comments/critiques welcome...

Thanks pidge, RKT and Jutilda for the comments. These crocuses were very fuzzy so made for some nice backlit and closeup shots.

I will return comments when I get a chance.

Nice work Colette! Love your use of very narrow DoF. Quite atypical macro style, but very effective.

LOL. It's their winter coat so they don't freeze during the wierd weather of April and May. 25C one day, 9c the next and snow overnight is not unheard of.
