I'm looking to make a little extra money, so if anyone is interested in commissioning a painting, I would be more than happy.

Here are a few examples of some paintings I've done: paintings

Interesting... I'm looking for someone to do a tattoo of some of my pics when I come back from Kenya. hehe

Do you sell the paintings you have in your gallery? Or are they ones you have sold in the past? They are great by the way.

both.

The ones that I've already sold are the 30x40 bird and flowers, the bird on branch, wolf and snow, and flower on green. (Pardon my lack of better names)

I mostly sell on commission, that seems to be the market's demand and that I guess I don't usually paint, on my own, things that people want. I would sell any that I have and I can always repaint any of them, not to mention they always turn out much better the second time around.

I also wanted to add that, except for watercolors, I build the frames for and stretch my own canvases to give them that more authentic feel.

edit to add: oh yeah, and thank you for the compliment, btw, (got carried away)

My favorites are the wolf, the palm tree, and the starry night paintings. If I had money I'd be proud to hang one on my wall. However, being the typical poor college guy, I can't afford nice things. Haha. You shouldn't have any trouble finding buyers.

thanx... glad someone appreciates them... and I'm with you on the whole poor college student thing... which is why I sell my stuff probably a lot cheaper than I could; I use some sort of a sliding scale in that I usually accept what people offer as long as it makes some profit over my costs, but I guess that's also cuz I love to paint and it makes me even happier when someone else enjoys it.
