Does anyone here dabble in artist trading cards? How do you use them? Like business cards? Miniature works of art? What process do you use? I have a bunch of ATC card stock I was considering using for homemade promo cards to be handed out or conveniently left in places like cafes and whatnot. So far my best methodology involves a cheap color printer and a glue stick ;-)

I have never heard of ATC cards or even come across the concept - can you tell me more?
I have business cards with my lioncub photo and contact information and also magnetic card versions and give both of these out to friends/ people I meet. Is that the same thing?

They're a fairly neat idea, but labor-intensive. Slightly larger than business cards. I've seen people give them out for free and I've seen artists seal them in ziploc bags with a $30 price tag.
My basic idea is that they would be a good way to experiment with tinies - small photo or collage of photos on one side, web address and/or other contact info on the other. Obviously it's not what you would want to hand out for portrait photography, but if you're more of an art photog and you're at a gallery reception, I figure an ATC is less likely to be thrown away and forgotten since it has a bit more of a unique and quirky "cool" factor.
There are examples and entire communities devoted to ATCs if you google it.
