Skip...you are definitely one of the photographers I really enjoy to keep track of.
You have such an enthusiasm for photography and it shows in your work. I shoot a lot of chairty and corporate events and I really appreciate your photojournalism...it inspires me.
I live in Lynchburg, VA and if you ever need a gopher for a shoot or want to come out my way for an event...let me know...it would be a pleasure. |

Skip, as always, a true inspriration reading your stories and seeing your amazing photos. Glad to hear about all the publications. I had the tv on the Speed Channel yesterday, and there was a Nascar race going on (pre-taped). I was in the middle of doing stuff around the house, but was listening to it and I remember hearing it was at the Richmond Raceway and I thought "I wonder if Skip was there?" I hear a little envy in that other guys camera, are you thinking about stepping up a huge notch in hardware? |

Yep, good ones, Skip. Your engine fire was excellent but muted because of the cropping, the turn four shot is a WoW.
Just for the fun of it, I looked up your PJ entry (26th place). That's not too shabby either! Actually, I wondered if this was yours when I voted.

I'm confused. What camera did you take to shoot the interview? And are you saying that this camera gave you better pictures then your 20d?
edit: Skip IM me to say it was a Mark II Ds...

There's an old photojournalist's answer to the question 'how do you get all those shots?'
... f/8, and be there.
I love how good it's going for you mate.

Great Job Skip. Glad to see you are doing well. Please keep us updated.
(sorry I missed your parents, I was off playing in Florida)
P.S. - Kind of fun shooting for more than one client at once aint it. :) It's defiantly a different world when you are shooting for the track.
