On April 29th I set up at my daughter's pre-school and took family portraits to raise money for her school. They are privately owned and going through some hard times right now.... and I love the school, so I wanted to do my part to help out. I was donating not only my time, but all the money minus print costs.
That day I worked from 9:30am - 7:30pm. I was wiped out, but in the end after print costs, I raised a little over $600 for the school! Not too shabby! :)
Anyways, here are 3 of my favorites from that day. I would've posted these before, but one of the portraits I used for my free study entry.
I got a little bit carried away with the vingetting, but I really like the look.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks,
Lor

Nice shots! I am sure they are very pleased with their portraits. That was very gracious of you to donate your time for a good cause, all-the-while getting experience with your new lights (which looks to me like you've had plenty of experience already). I hope you put business cards in with their orders, I imagine you'll get a lot of repeat customers out of this. |

I am hoping to get some repeat business from this also! It was so hard to have that much money in my hand... and know that it is all going "bye bye". Oh well. I feel good that I could do something. :)
