Have you altered the options in Firefox so it speeds up when loading webpages?

Yup, thats right. It only takes up 2 mins of your time and its really easy to do. I was amazed at the difference in speed it made to my surfing, especially when looking at photography websites.

i wonder how many people use firefox, theres more then people think,
i told someone about a glitch in their website that doesnt work with firefox, and his reply was, well your the only person i know that uses firefox, i laughed,

that would be a good poll, what browser people on dpc use

I think you would find more use firefox than anyone would ever suspect.

I have to bank in IE and I hate that.

Actually, there'd need not be a poll... that info would be in the access logs of the site. We can't see it, but I'm sure D&L know exactly which percentage of us use it.

Are you using IE Tab? If not, you should check it out. It'll open an IE tab within Firefox and you can set it to always open certain urls using IE.

Firefox here. No problem at all.
05/08/2006 12:49:18 PM · #16
I'd like to know too. I think it'd be a pretty high percentage of us.

Also try the Fasterfox plugin for Firefox. Probably does much the same thing as "clicky" but you don't have to mess with the internal settings.

Fasterfox
