I would say thats a ribbon. I dont think this contest will take over a 7 to ribbon.

This challenge has been a very odd experience. I took my shot early in the week. Tried a couple of different things and then left it. Posted what I had pretty quick thinking I would go back and do something different or pull it. Really didnt think it would score high at all. Woke up Wednesday morning to a 6.0 with 45 votes and it just started goin gup from there. I have been watching the votes close and it just blows me away that I just keep going up. Of all the pics I have submitted this is not the one I expected to do so well. I am really looking forward to seeing the tallies. Tuesday cant come fast enough.
But then this board has been pretty quiet with scores so I am not quite sure what else is out there. 6.6 may ribbon as well. You just dont know. (Fingers crossed for ya BeeCee). |

I just bumped up a few of my higher votes and probably bumped myself down in the process but, if so, that's fair, they deserve it!
(was gonna ask Tim if his just went up a bit without vote # changing, but decided that would tell me which was his, and I don't wanna know yet!) |

Just got home and my score is still the same. You must not have liked it much :( But I am not complaining.
And a quick reply to a past reply of mine - I would never, NEVER bump down a vote just because I knew who it was. I just read my post again and realized that it sounded bad or greedy. I play fair and want to see the best pic win (I would just love it if mine was the best pic). |

I didnt comment on all of them. Not even close really. But both Rikki and BeeCee said I did on theirs. I am shooting for at least 10% of challenges. I seem to comment more on my top couple of levels of pics ratherthan the lower ones. THeirs are both doing really well so odds are I commented on them. I am guessing yours is doing well also Riggs. (Love your teddy bear shot by the way). |

In the last 10 votes I've gone from 6.5912 to 6.6085 and back to 6.5969 (in the last 2 votes), so I figure I'm pretty safe in extrapolating a final score of roughly 6.6, no?
I'm happy to sit back and watch the race between tim and rikki :D
Anyone else want to toss a good score into that mix?? |
