A friend asked me to take headshots for him, this is new for me, but I gave it a shot. This seems to be the best. Any suggestions?

Thanks in Advance

Technically it's a fabulous shot, great job with the lighting and detail in the eyes. To me, there's great connection with his eyes and the camera, but not much to show a personality. His look is either not serious enough, or not "playful" enough. It's a little too straight on for my tastes, but that's just me. I'm just being a bit nit-picky since you asked, but it is a really nice shot.

looks good...though maybe add a bit more contrast btw. his face in the background...right now they're nearly the same gray tone...I'd lighten it up, or make it darker (you can give it a try in PS without reshooting to see what you think)

I think this is a classic shot. It all looks right technically, but as said already, to really stand out from the crowd (if thats what u want), he needs to make more effort. Good job!
