I way underexposed the first two (getting used to the two thumb wheels on the D70...) and had to use a whole lotta neat image on them.. I really like the peony in black and white.

tell me whatcha think.

I agree that the B&W iamge is the best of the three. I like the almost feathered texture of the petals.

The colour images are a little 'sombre' for me, almost sinister with the ant and ladybird. Maybe that's a good thing and gets away from the 'cute flower' stereotype.

sinister huh? guess I need to reduce the midtone contrast a bit...

If you rotate (verticaly) the lady bug meeting the ant pic, it would look better. (in my humble opinion)
