I uploaded "Got Cheese?" (Yeah, everybody knows that photo) to BetterPhoto for thier "Humor" themed contest for this month. I found out today that it had been removed with no explanation as to why.

I guess they didn't take kindly to me showing my ass. Or perhaps, it was just too damn funny.

OK, rant over.

Yeep. And I thought the "no genitalia" rule here was strict.

I admit it. I love the shot...

Sorry to hear that Leroy. Maybe it didnt have so much to do with nudity as the bright white butt was too blinding. lol

I have my Puppy Love entered there for the Funny theme too - so far they don't seem too offended as it's still there.

According to BetterPhoto's "Terms and conditions for uploading photos to BetterPhoto" which must be accepted before uploading pictures...

"BetterPhoto is a family-friendly site, we reserve the right to reject unsuitable or pornographic images. Unsuitable images for this family friendly site include most nude photos as well as photos of a sexually suggestive or overly violent content."

The intent and purpose of that website is not the same as DPChallenge. It is not better. It is not worse. It is geared to a different audience, that's all.
