Humour mode on
This is puzzling me a lot! Here is the scene. His Kiwiness is asking Nasti's father for her hand in marriage. The conversation probably went a little like this:
Kiwiness: Sir, I would like to ask for your daughter's hand in marriage
Mr Nasti: OK. So what will you do to support my daughter? What job do you have?
Kiwiness: I am a photographer, Sir, a very good one at that.
Mr Nasti: Excellent! My dear Anastasia has a similar interest. So what do you photograph? Are you a journalist? Wildlife photographer? Portrait?
Kiwiness: Well, some portraits, Sir.
Mr Nasti: Well, lots of opportunity there but do you do anything else? Cut throat business, don't you know.
Kiwiness: Well, I also specialise in glamour and nude photography, Sir.
Mr Nasti: What!?!?! Do you mean to say that you take pictures of beautiful semi-naked and naked women in alluring and exotic poses, designed to be artistic as well as arousing?????
Kiwiness: Yes Sir.
Mr Nasti: And, young man, do you intend to still do this when you are married?????
Kiwiness: Why, yes Sir! It is my job.
Mr Nasti: Well, young man, all I can say is...
As a father myself I would love to say something along the lines of
"Good luck, mate!"
but I just wonder! :-)
I guess Mr Nasti must have said something like:
"Excellent, Dear Boy! And feel free to use the cubes anytime you are here"
based on His Kiwiness' portfolio...

Sigh! I guess that this just proves I really am obscure!
And the cube in question is this one:
Mutters incoherently and wanders back to his hole... :-)

Hehehe you have a wild imagination :)
Actually when we got married we hadn't even started in photography and also her dad doesn't speak English and I don't speak Russian so a discussion like that would have been impossible. The cubes I can always use when I am in Russia, and I will again for sure :) Soon, soon.... |

Just for the record, I am still known as "Uncle Nasty" by my nephews and nieces for my over-acted and very graphic story telling when they were young. Mr Nasti is clearly an accolade that I can relate to!
Glad Gary and Nasti saw the fun in this one as Meunster would be hell if they did not!
