OK maybe it's just me, but does any of you actually check what your favourite photographer (or pal) has submitted last?
I'd like to see thumbnails on the main-page of DPC where it will ALWAYS show the latest photo submitted by my favourites (ok, maybe I only get to choose 3 of them, or something). This way I can always have them on-check should they move a hair or something.
Any of you thinking in the same line? |

A grand idea! The Fav's list is not much use without those types of personalized features.
Meanwhile, I'll just manually PM you the link to my latest submission each day Crayon. ;-) |

All you have to do is check Here.
hehehe, actually not a bad idea. I frequently go check on my favs, but don't always think about it....so much to do....so little time...you know :-) |

I think that would be a great feature.. So long as we can change who are 3 favorites are... mine tend to bounce around a bit.

Yup, another site that I belong to has a feature that is called Friends List. There is a mechanism where you can check Recent Images and another that shows Recent Images by Friends.
On a site like this just below Photos > Browse > Recent Uploads, a Photos > Browse > Recent by Favorite Photog could be linked.
It works nicely and is an effective tool...I like the idea however...
...it also could reinforce the posse mentality where it becomes more competitive to be on peoples fav lists to get more views on your photos.
I've seen that happen on the other site where the cliques become stronger and the little people just starting out don't get their shots seen (become overlooked).

Dunno about the main page... I've got 50 folks selected as favorite photographers, LOL. It *would* be great to have a page devoted to recent submissions by our favorites. A great idea.
