| It would be interesting to get some enhanced usage out of your favorite photographers list. For example, to know if they have posted any new photographs or posted any comments in the forums... I've seen other threads about RSS feeds and this is something that might be useful as information in the feed. |

I like this idea, and hope it could be implemented.
I only keep a handful of favourites photographer so this idea is very welcomed. Not sure about those people who keeps hundreds of favourites tho? |

That brings up another suggestion that I have been thinking about for a while now.
In addition to the few photographers that I have made my favorites, there are many photograpers that I am interested in following. Usually, it's because of something that they are doing with their work that doesn't necessarily warrant being added to my favorites. Or, something interests me about them and I would like to check in on them every now and then. I've seen lots of newcomers to the site and lots of young people who have not yet established themselves as outstanding photographers, but who I expect great things from. I would like some way to track them, instead of what I do now. For now, I keep a hand written list of some potential superstars.
I would like to see a "Watch" option for photographers similiar to the "Watched Thread" feature for the forums. Then the favorites list could be reserved for just those that justify being on that list. |

maybe we can have a normal Favourites that behaves like it is currently, and have another option (checkboxes?) that will allow us to "follow" the photographer - meaning we will get announcements, or maybe a special column on DPC where we can view all their latest additions with ease? |
