I'm planning to buy Wacom Intous3 Tablet. Am wondering if anyone can suggest which size is the best 6x8 or 6x11.
Currently I edit my images on a single monitor but may buy another monitor down the line. Is 6x11 good for working with single monitor? |

Hmmm... good question, Raj.
I use a single 19" monitor, and am quite comfortable with my 4x5. My partner has a 21" monitor with a 6x8 tablet, and he's very comfortable with it, but I'm not. I find I have to move my arm way too much, and it's too slow to get from one side of the screen to the other. I have fairly small hands, and his are moderately large. That might have something to do with it.
You might want to try to figure this out based on your hand size and monitor size, but the best way, I'd think, would be to see if you can try both out somewhere.

It depends. If you'll be doing graphic art where you'll be tracing an existing image, go with a larger. If you're only editing images in Photoshop, the go for a smaller one to reduce the amount you must move your hand to cover the screen.
The exception is that you could buy the bigger and scale it down in the driver settings if you need to.
I'm happy with my Wacom Graphire3 4x5 that I just got. |

I have Intuos3 6x8 and it is great. I think you you want 6x11 if you have wide screen monitor. I would not go bigger than that.
