Since we're talking paintjobs... I ran across this one a few weeks ago!

If I recall correctly... Canon 1Ds MKII w/600mm and 2x TC.

Not sure...but I imagine if you are sitting on the beach with 15-20K worth of equipment, you gotta be a pro (or a serious, serious amateur). I was with my family and didn't want to linger long enough for the wife to notice his lens was bigger than mine... I felt so inadequate with my measly 100-400L.

A couple of folks I go shoot with have big L glass - one has the 500 F4 and another has the 300 2.8 IS.
Yeah, BIG.
Yeah, Expensive.
Yeah, nice.
this is the 300 2.8

and some other shots of it.

I think that was jmsetzler but i couldn't find the image in his gallery, perhaps he took it down. I think it was a lens hood for a 70-200 2.8

Do you ever have time to actually use these lenses or what? :P

I was thinking of painting all my white Canon "L" lenses black. That way it will look like I have a Nikon! Cool! :)

Seriously though - great job Bower!

I do use them from time to time. Being in a wheelchair i have alot of time to do nothing. No job, no kids, no wife or girlfriend, this is what i do. Its fun for me, gives me somthing to do.
