Oh, Cherie... those pictures are fantastic, much better than mine. I know you were there the week before kirbic and i went there.
I think I am in love with you. Will you marry me? I'm sorry but I can't accept any flimsy excuses like you are married, have a significant other, have a different sexual orientation or anything else like that.

Thanks buzzrock and strangeghost and Steve. Gosh Steve, that is some proposal! Hummm... let me see. You like my work, I like yours. We both love photography. YOU live in AZ and there are LOTS of great locations I NEED to shoot out west. Seems like a no brainer :-)
Just think of all the great gear we could ask for on a wedding gift registery!

Gorgeous shots! I really like the way you frame a lot of your photos. Very creative eye there! I was there a couple weeks ago, and my shots look nothing like yours. Very nice work!
Steve, I was going to comment on how romantic you were in your post , but nevermind, it appeared to work! You two could make beautiful pictures together. :-) |

I stand by my proposal. We'd compose beautiful images together. Those are fabulous pictures and I could not agree more with the framing, composition and overall high quality.
Looks like you had a GREAT trip. I noticed that you were there after I went with kirbic. He and I were there on March 18th. Where was the snow? Up Oak Creek Canyon? Wished I'd have known it was close. Dang! I did not see any where we went and I'm pretty sure most of the snow fell in Sedona before we got there.
Some places I don't even recognize. Where all did you go? Looks like you were all over the place to me and went on some nice hikes. I even saw a picture from the Palatki Heritage Site, I think.
OK... so when do you want to come out again?

I was there from 3/21 to 3/29. The snow came overnight the first night. It was even down in town - about 6". The snow photos are from Schnebly Hill Road. Our guide had a jeep so we were able to go up there early in the morning. Three days later we went up West Fork trail and there was still a good bit of snow there. The first 5 days I was with a group and we did some great hikes. However, there wasn't always time to set up a good shot so I missed some. Especially when we did the climb up Cathedral Rock. On my 3 extra days alone I returned to some places and explored some new ones. The weather varied from snow, rain, cloudy to clear. I was bummed that the light at sunrise was just not good. We were at Doe Messa, Cathedral, Red Rock Crossing, West Fork trail,Palatki, Devil's bridge, Broken Arrow (jeep ride), Schnebly,Bell Rock, Slide Rock, Huckaby trail, Soldier Pass trail, Airport Loop and drove up to Oak Creek Vista. I'll get some titles on my photos soon.
I'm ready to come back NOW! So much to shoot so little time! |

Welllll... at least I've posted better shots of The Devil's Bridge than you. (Steve says sheepishly with his last remaining bit of photographic pride.) :)
Of course, you haven't posted any.
