Here are samples of the differing interpolations vs. PSP when enlarging an image 3x its width and heighth. You will have to click on the thumbnails to see the differences for the most part. Looking at the the fingers really shows the differences. Here is a link to the article that reviewed to this software. The program is less than $40 I believe.

This software not only does a great job of enlarging (imo), it has a lot of other editing features and the help files have photos illustrating uses of the programs editing features, which helps me much more than just describing what an action does.

I must say I'm impressed with the results using that algorithm. I saved his original crop and tried to do my best in photoshop, but however I attacked it I lost detail compared to the Lanczos 3 algorithm!

Note that Irfanview (freeware) canresize using this algorithm. Methinks I will download and give it a try.
