Here in Toronto there is a radio station called MOJO radio, talk radio for guys (www.mojoradio.com). It's like FHM or Maxium, but a radio station. Anyway they have a little feature that plays 3 times a day, web sites. A guy called Bingo Bob tells you about a cool web site you should check out. You can email him site suggestions. I ofcourse emailed him DP CHALLENGE. He emailed back saying "great stuff". A buddy of mine told me during Ripkin (one of the shows on mojo) Bingo Bob talked about DP Challenge.

Cool eh?

You guys looking for things like this?
(Edited in -- Killed the store and so the link is dead.)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not actually purchase any of these products. If you do, you will be radically disappointed in the quality of the logo once you get them back. This was meant to be for an example only. If I can find out what font was used for the title header and get a bigger version of the ribbon logo, then maybe we could have something you'd like to purchase.

But, I don't want to step on any toes, so it's up to Drew and Langdon. I can set up the site, or just recreate the logo, or whatever guys. Or you can tell me to walk away cause you already have it planned.

Hey Jeff,

I think some time in the future, we'll offer some stuff like that, but we won't be doing it through Cafe Express. Those items do look cool, though, so it is incentive for us to move on that :) Of course, the prints and portfolios have our full attention at the moment.

Fair enough -- I'll leave that up a day or so just so the link doesn't totally freak people out -- but I'll put it away soon.

I really like the mug and the mouse pad. Cool stuff. I can't wait till Drew and Langdon start offering these things. I can imagine the amount of people that will start asking about the site when they see those two things here on my desk at work. Will be great publicity for the site.

Great, Jeff! I will await the authorized products, but believe me, I was ready to get the long sleeved shirt and baseball cap!!

I think it might make me feel less strange about photographing in public. It would make me feel official!

I suggested DPC for review at News24.com, check this out. //www.news24.com/News24/Technology/Webwise/0,6119,2-13-204_1333117,00.html

How about DPChallenge bumper stickers or windshield stickers?
03/14/2003 10:20:27 AM · #42
We can all make our own, if we could get a good copy of the DPC logo, with all the media available for inkjet printers nowadays. I found that iron ons worked best if I had them professionally heat set by a tshirt company.

We could at least do this before DPC does their own. I bet it wouldn't take much to set up a paypal online ordering page with an online printing company and would benefit the site maintenance fees.

If the 'top guns' want me to look into this for them, I will volunteer my time.

I wanna a KERMI coffee mug and matching pen, please.

And maybe little bitty dpc stickers to go on my camera and lens cases!

Oh, absolutely! LOL @ kermi!

kandyi: I found that the "Iron on Transfers for Dark Colors" works best. Made a t-shirt for myself with my daughter's swim team logo on it to look like I am part of the team. Worked great! All the other parents wanted one too!
