| I have a canon 5d and noticed that cs wont open 5d raw files , I went to photoshop site and downloaded the 5d upgrade , does anyone know where to add this file to make it work , Thanks |

Tom, I dont know if the raw diles that the photoshop site has on it will work with cs.... they will with cs2...

| To use 5D raw files you need the Camera Raw 3.3 update, which will only work for CS2. |

Correct on the requirement for Camera Raw 3.3; unfortunately, 3.3 is supported only by CS2, not CS :-P
there is an alternative, though. Download the DNG converter and convert your RAW files to Adobe's DNG format. This does not change any data, it merely pouts a "wrapper" on the file that tells ACR how to interpret it. This will enable the older program to read the files.
I'd also recommend downloading Pixmantec's RawShooter essentials 2006, which is completely free and does a nice job with 5D RAW files.
