In "Basic Editing" it says no spot editing allowed. My camera has some dust on the sensor that won't come off. (I need to have it removed by a camera shop) So, since all of my pictures have a nice big, black dot and a few smaller ones scattered all around, would I be allowed to clean those up afterwards, or do I have to submit like that?

Basic editing says no spot editing. So you will have to submit like it is or clean the sensor.

Unfortunately you're not allowed to remove them in Basic Editing challenges. You may be able to disguise them by using curves and things though?

If you know exactly where the spots are going to be, you can try to compose your photograph in such a way that they won't appear in large uniform areas. Spots are almost invisible in patterned backgrounds or areas where there are different shapes and lines.
