I'd certainly like to see if a fortnightly would mean I entered more or not...

I sorta feel the same way however I think I'd probably prefer shorter time periods because some of these challenge themes can be quite boring, IMO. Every week I see some good challenge suggestions made but get passed over for stuff like Yellow XVII. Who wants to vote on a 1,000 of those photos, which most likely would occur if we extended the submission period even further.

That would only be 4 challenges per month for members (2 opens and 2 member) and only 2 for users. If you don't like one of the topics, it's a long wait for a new one. I like having 8 challenges a month, and don't think the site would be helped by cutting down the number of challenges available.

Only thing I would like to see changed is 2 weeks to submit, 1 week to vote. Keep the ongoing schedule the same.

Good heavens, NOOOOOOO!!! Then each challenge would have even more submissions than they do now!

As someone who doesn't summit near as often as I would like -- more submission (maybe mine!) can only be seen as a good thing.

Seriously, the level of competition on this site has increased greatly even in the short two years I've been here -- shorter time-spans benifit those who are comfortable with the techniques much more than those who could compete, but have a bit or a learning curve to overcome.

Two week submission period on a one week rolling schedule sounds good to me.
