A few comments were made about this shot, about Melissa not looking natural or comfortable. That girl on top of her is her best friend in the world, she was visiting for the week and I pulled out the old backdrop, set it up and started shooting. I have several outtakes of the two of them in more natural poses and such but this one was special in that I asked them to sit on the ground, was going to go back to back but Melissa slipped and sprawled out and her friend took advantage of the situation and plopped on top of her in that pose. It got Melissa laughing, which she had not been doing up to that point and I just happened to snap at the right moment.
I'm not going to post the outtakes of the others that I considered because I may be redoing one of them for next week! ;)

It's actually a very nice shot. FWIW, I gave it an 8. It did broach on one of my pet peeves though - artificial amputation of limbs.
