I took so many shots of bridges that I went past the deadline to submit. Well, guess I'll put them in an outtake folder!! Thank goodness I only had a few to pick from for numbers.
edit: BTW, the topic tile should have read "Oh, No!!"
That is how my day has been, got stuck in the mud and had to build a road to get up this steep hill and then backed into a tree.. no damage to my hubby's truck, lucky for me!

Unintentional poetry... up this steep hill and then backed into a tree.. no damage to my hubby's truck, lucky for me!
I think that, well, bridges the gap between your issues and my attempt at humor.

Hi Kandy. You can put yours in one of your portfolios! I drove for hours yesterday looking for a bridge to photograph. I crossed several bridges but there was no place to stop to take a photograph. Finally, I stopped and, with my tripod and backpack, headed down a gravel trail and tripped. I cut my hand, elbow, knee, twisted my ankle, and landed in a puddle on top of that. It was all I could do to pull myself up and hobble back to my car - with no photo. I know I'm old but today I feel 90! |

Joanns, weren't you injured in the ice and snow a few weeks back?? I am sore from making a rock road to get unstuck and went home this noon to find out that I had evidently hit a rock that broke the hubby's exhaust pipe, so now my pocketbook will be hurting. I had just been bragging that I hadn't wrecked a vehicle in a few yearw!

Yes, I did slip on the ice - I can't believe how clumsy I've become. I think what it is -- I am looking around me for things to photograph and not where I'm walking. At least my only expense was purchasing first aid items. I'm sorry to hear about your accident - my very superstitious mother would have told you to "knock on wood" if she heard you tell someone that you haven't had a accident in a while. I hope it doesn't cost too much. |

Well, you know how you get by Sunday night after working three days on a good photo, punchy at best!! Last week it was lucky I didn't have much problem as I was looking in the sky for natural numbers!!
