Far be it for me to cast dispersions on someone with the talent and inspiration of Mr Rikki Dy-Liacco AKA Rikki

However I would like to point out some remarkable similarity between his rather good entry in Colour Portrait
and my own
rather exceptional portrait (if I say so myself – as no one else will). I felt that my “original” version shows
the model in a more natural situation, bringing out the raw strength from within, yet showing a little a little emotional vulnerability.

I would like to congratulate Rikki on successfully using this image for inspiration and offer this one to further inspire him.

I used the same model,as I found him to be easy to work with and he seemed to know intuitively what I was looking forâ€Â¦
:-)

The similiarities are uncanny....I cannot believe that Rikki would stoop so low as to copy your unique style to obtain as high a vote as possible. Has that man no class?

Rikki, Rikki, Rikki......Shame, Shame, Shame!!!

I think what disturbs me here is the obvious heavy use of PS to recolour the models hair - is this legal????

My models always do their own hair and makeup so I can not be sure on that one. In this case he also supplied his own clothes. If I also remember he brought along some field glasses and an AK47, but I decided not to use them for this set up:-)
