My nephew got a rocket from the local hobby store about 3 months ago. Its called the "Sky shot" it has a camera in the nose. Well the first launch when we shot it the parashute floated it into a tree. So for about 2 months it was stuck in a tree. When we finaly got it down it was full of ants. Whats in the film that the ants wanted? They had a huge nest in the cone all around the film up in the mechanism of it and it was just swarmed in ants.

Does film use sugar or somthing? I think it was like 110 C-41 film.

Since we got it down its rained and the film is probobly ruined so we need new film for it. Its just pinhole camera with a mirror and a plastic wide angle lens.

I think there may be some kind of "cellulose Acetate" that may break down into sugar...but I'd look it up to be sure !
