I'm looking to get a new website made. Smugmug is great for sharing my pictures to my friends and family and other people...but it's not the best for showing off my portfolio.
I want a very simple...very stylish website just for my portraits that I've been shooting over the last few weeks. I have no clue how to code or anything...so I was wondering if anyone wanted to help me?
I have some ideas in my head, so if anyone is interested just le me know.
I'll pay for all the hosting fees and registrations and whatnot... I may be able to pay for the building of the website, but it won't be a whole lot.
I will give you credit on the website; "Created by So and So" My Smugmug gets over 40000 hits a month (I'm really popular with the college students here, lol...)... so I would expect my new site to get quite a few also...
Anywho...if your interested in helping a young, aspiring photographer post here or hit me up with a pm....
Thanks thanks.

Try my brother, he's good. So good, in fact, that he is extremely busy. He is currently in the final stages of building my website and might have the time when he is finished.
He does this kind of work and a lot more. He does it well, so he is in high demand. Give him a try. His name is Michael and his URL is //www.designerdata.com . |

If you realy want a simple website that you can do yourself in just 30 minutes... all you need is a Google account and then go to Google Pages.
Here's an example that I did last night in 2 minutes. Yanik Chauvin. Of course you can choose your layout and add pages.

There are these awesome templates available online, Flash templates, that are only like $65. I don't have the name of the website, but if you Google "Flash templates" then you are likely to come up with one of the many sites that host these templates; it's a franchise sort of operation where the templates reside with one company and then other people affiliate with the company to promote and sell the templates.
Here is the one that I picked up, but I'm not done adding my own content to it.

Caleb, have a look at clickimage.com - or look at my page PenrodStudios
Their web building package is really easy to use. I put mine together in about 2 hours. Your friends/family and eventually customers could also purchase prints directly from your site.

Have you purchased any of your photos through this site? How is the quality if you have? |

Yeah, I ordered a few for my studio wall. They look great. They use a very good labs for their own fullfillment, but you can also choose to have the site just take orders and you send the orders to your own lab if you don't like/trust theirs. I personally find their lab to be very acceptable.
