| Would it be possible to add a "Self Portrait" gallery to the list? There are many of us that are taking photos of themselves all the time and I am sure everyone at some point in time as done the same. It would be nice to be able to see all of the self portraits in one place. |

Self-portaits can have a very different dynamic to other portraits.

I agree mandy, Self portraits should be added to the list! I hate having to list my self portraits as "family"

i think she means in the gallery, they are listed as family.

There have been more than one self portrait challenge on DPC and it's just a question of going through the archives.

That's not exactly what she's referring to. She's talking about portfolio galleries; not challenge entries.

Mandy this is a excellent proposal to help improve the minimal effort that has been devoted to categories & organization in the archive......
I may be wrong but the only category added since creation of the galleries on this site has been the Floral galleries. Previous to that the floral category fotos were usually filed in the Nature gallery.

looking at the galleries.... actually there are a few that have been revised or added..... I think these are additions also -
Astrophotography
History
Infrared
Military |

| Both "Self Portrait" and "Textures" have been added to the gallery options. |

I see them as an option when picking lists from our portfolio pages, but I don't see them in the gallery list under "Photos". Of course, I could just be completely blind. :)
