This is a shot of one of my Pim Pictus Cats, the baby that I have nurtured back to health. My original edit was to get a black background but it was a little boring (but a decent species shot) thoughts, ideas on this shot would be welcome, is the flood tool too much?

txs peeps :) and Rooster, I had hastle buyng my pair when I told the sales girl I'd only buy them if she didn't use a net to catch them - their barbels are sooo long a net is bad news! Oh, be careful cleaning your tank, they have poisonous spines!

I think that's a great shot. I don't think the small screen does it justice. Now if you had just had a bubble or two escaping up, that would add the feeling of being in the water.

Thanks for all your replies/comments :) Unfortunately this guy was attacked by his big brother last night and is now minus his excellent barbels and it will be a few months before he regains them. Since they are nocturnal cats its rare that even one of them displays well when the lights are on.

This would be an example of a "Negative Image" right? |

Don't think there's anything you could do to make this better... it's amazing! |

The flood filter is one of those specialized, gimicky filters that can be used with nitch images... this is one of them. It works well here, you didn't knocky viewers over the head with it and it works well in B&W. You made it fit the scene well.

If were are talking high/low key and it matches one I'd have thought low key?
