		| | Love it "Ships to: World Wide" and "Shipping preparation and charges are responsibility of the purchaser" and "Weight is 1500-2000 lbs" (I am assuming a large range because they cannot pick it up to weight the thing). I think the 100K buy price is the small piece of the power conversion and shipping :-0).
I cannot image how many stamps that would be from WA to, say, Perth (happy coincidence on the WA part ok).

I wonder if it's a "sharp" copy of the lens :-)

		| | Hey, if a Canon 12000mm costs $75,000, and this is a 60" and costs $100,000, the cost is in the same ballpark :-)
 12000mm ~= 47 inches, $75,000/47 in = $1,595 per inch.
 $100,000/60 in = $1,666 per inch.

Makes me appreciate the 50mm f/1.8

		| | Yeah, and this is a better deal because it comes with it's own mount...you still have to dish out more $$$ in order to get a nice tripod and gimble mount for the Canon 1200mm
 ;-)

		| | Don't forget that you'd have real trouble getting it in your camera bag.

		| | Yeah, but I bet you it's a very stable lens and would be great for mounting on a boat and taking all those beautiful coastal shots of the Carribbean and Costa Rica! |

You wouldn't need the boat, you'd just need to be in Africa.

HAHAHAHAHA! If only the curvature of the earth were not a factor, then YES!

I could totally see creating a way to mount my camera to this.

		| | Too funny. That person's previous auctions are kids lunchboxes, pyjamas and games. |
