You folks at tamron need to bring out a 50-150 2.8 lens for $800 or less, and it can be APS sized for the smaller sensors.
You see, I love the 80-200 2.8 lens, but they were designed for a full fram film world. On a 1.6x crop camera th e70 end is bit too long - so how about fixing that and being the first to make the lens we need most, and make it an SP model please.
this will go very will with your new SP 17-50 2.8 due out next month.
thanks!

Would work great for shooting indoor sports at venues with less than perfect lighting. f2.0 would be even better.

Dear Tamron,
Canon said your lenses suck! Send me a good selection of glass and I will prove them wrong. BTW, Sigma has offered the same deal, so I hope you can beat them to it.

Dear Tamron,
Please provide me with a 500 f2.8 super sharp, high contrast lens for less than $1000 and I will sing your praises forever.
